Stone Cliff Winery is a family owned and operated winery. Bob and Nan Smith, the proprietors, planted a vineyard in 1995 and had their first product offering in 2001. Their production and Tasting Room is now located in the Historic Star Brewery building in the Port of Dubuque along the Mississippi River, Dubuque, Iowa. To compliment the local favorite wine, in 2022, Bob and Nan bought the rights to the Dubuque Star Beer name and started serving several flavors of the well known beer from its original taproom.
